YOUTUBE STREAMING GUIDELINES
K-Music Shows use Youtube music video view counts as part of the judging criteria, usually worth 10-30%.
Streaming on Youtube also counts toward the Billboard 200 & Hot 100 Chart.

✓ Stream the MV on KQ's Official Youtube channel
✓ Manually search for the MV by typing it in the search bar
✓ After streaming the MV, watch 2-4 other videos
✓ For example: Ateez MVs, Individual Member Contents
✓ Watch non-Kpop vids as well, and vids of varying lengths
✓ Repeat searching for the MV manually, then watching other vids
✓ Constantly change up the vids you are watching as fillers
✓ Like the MV
✓ Engage on the video - leave positive comments and like positive comments every few hours
✓ Share the MV LINK on all social media
✓ Stream the video at 720p or higher
✓ Stream from only 1 account/device per IP address!
✓ Stream the video at 50% volume or higher
✓ Mute your DEVICE, not the Youtube video
✓ Get Youtube Premium or sign up for free trials. Premium streams are weighted more for Billboard
DON'T ✗
✗ Don't stream on Stone Music channel or unofficial channels
✗ Don't use the word "stream" or emojis in the comments
✗ Don't cause unnecessary drama in the Youtube comments!
✗ Don't report negative comments, rather report the accounts
✗ Don't mute the video in Youtube while streaming
✗ Don't lower Youtube's volume below 50%
✗ Don't repost the full MV on SNS, clips are ok but always LINK
✗ Don't skip all the ads or pause the video while watching
✗ Don't use ad blockers, VPN, or incognito mode
✗ Don't stream from multiple accounts/devices at once! Youtube is likely to filter streams as low quality playback if they are coming from multiple accounts/devices all from the same IP address.
✗ Don't loop or replay the MV after watching
✗ Don't stream using a playlist during the 1st 24 hours, even with Premium! Manual streaming is always the safest way to get views counted. Only use playlist after the 1st 24 hours if you are too busy to stream manually.
✗ Don't need to clear cookies/cache/history
